Due to devious government officials who violate the chain of custody and profit from the dismissal of court cases, the commission met with Prosecutor General Benedicto Malcontento on October 22, 2019 at the Department of Justice—along with the City Prosecutors of the National Capital Region, to discuss plans on how to collaboratively eliminate corruption in the Philippine government.
